What this policy covers

This privacy notice explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit www.wealthanalytica.com, request a free trial, contact us, or use the Advisor OS Report assessment. It is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data we collect

You give us directly: name, email address, phone number, company name, role, and any details you submit via our contact, free-trial or assessment forms. For a paid subscription, we also collect billing details (processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers).

We collect automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed (via privacy-friendly analytics — Plausible, no cookies, no cross-site tracking). We log security-relevant events (failed logins, suspicious activity).

We do not collect: third-party advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, or any data we don't actively need to deliver the service.

How we use it

We use your personal data to: respond to your enquiries; deliver the Wealth Analytica platform and the Advisor OS Report; send you transactional emails (account confirmation, billing); send marketing emails only if you've explicitly opted in; comply with legal obligations including FCA record-keeping where applicable.

Our lawful bases for processing are: contract (to deliver services you've requested), legitimate interests (to improve the product and prevent abuse), and consent (for marketing communications).

How long we keep it

• Contact-form submissions: 24 months from last interaction, then deleted.
• Trial accounts: 30 days after trial ends if you don't convert; permanently deleted at 90 days.
• Paid customers: for the duration of your subscription, plus 90 days after cancellation (or sooner on request).
• Advisor OS Report submissions: 24 months for benchmark improvement; you can request deletion any time.
• Server / security logs: 30 days, then auto-deleted.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the third-party processors required to deliver the service:

• Hosting: our infrastructure runs on UK-based servers (London region).
• Email delivery: for transactional and marketing emails (you can unsubscribe any time).
• Payments: Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1).
• Analytics: Plausible (cookieless, no cross-site tracking).
• Customer-relationship pipeline: if you opt into our partner programme, your details may be shared with the partner who introduced you.

We never sell your data. We never share your data with advertisers.

International transfers

Your data is stored in the UK. Where any sub-processor is outside the UK/EEA, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, export it (data portability), object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Exercise any of these by emailing hello@wealthanalytica.com — we'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only strictly-necessary cookies (session, CSRF token). We do not use any tracking, advertising or social-media cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless.

Security

Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We require multi-factor authentication for all customer accounts. We are ISO 27001 certified and undergo independent penetration testing twice a year.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change and notify customers of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance.
